San Antonio seeks attorneys for code enforcement special magistrate role
The city is accepting statements of qualification from Florida-licensed attorneys through Nov. 30 for an as-needed code enforcement special magistrate post.

San Antonio is looking for a Florida-licensed attorney to serve as its code enforcement special magistrate, a city legal role that would handle code-enforcement matters on an as-needed basis. The request was posted Oct. 21, and the city says the work would be intermittent rather than full time.
The city says applicants need at least five years as a licensed attorney and a current Florida license. It also says preference will go to lawyers with strong trial or code-enforcement experience, and it may consider CCLG or trial attorney certification.
Interested attorneys must send one letter of interest and eight copies of the SOQ marked “SPECIAL MAGISTRATE SOQ” to the city clerk by 4:30 p.m. Nov. 30 at 32819 Pennsylvania Avenue. The city also says it can reject every proposal, and draft contract forms and scoring sheets are available through the clerk.
